Black and white portraits

Before the age of digital photography, I used to do a lot of portraits in black and white like this one of Stephane Levy Kuntz, a french author. I used to print them myself. This was an experience that I really enjoyed. However digital photography, with the tools we now have, has pushed away the limits of what we can achieve, especially in color.
